WWW Wednesday

Hosted by MizB (ShouldbeReading)

You just answer these three questions:
What did you finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What are you planning to read next?

What did I finish reading?

Infinite Days (Vampire Queen #1) by Rebecca Maizel 4/5 (review)
I liked the interesting take on Vampires and how the need to be human again demands great sacrifices.

Mockingjay (The Hunger Games #3) by Suzanne Collins 3/5 (review)
Rebellious thoughts take action and although it took me months to finally pick the book back up, it actually was kind of nice.

The Madness Underneath (Shades of London #2) by Maureen Johnson 3/5 (review)
This book is a wavering transition towards a (hopefully) greater third book. After this ending, I definitely want to read the next one!

The Iron Butterfly (The Iron Butterfly #1) by Chanda Hahn 5/5 (review)
A wonderful fantasy! I was overly surprised considering it's offered for free.

What am I currently reading?

Stolen Nights (Vampire Queen #2) by Rebecca Maizel
I'm just starting on the second chapter. It's always nice to read the first book of a series so you know what you're getting into when requesting books from Netgalley, haha! Good thing I really liked the first book.

The Kingmaker's Daughter (The Cousins' War #4) by Philippa Gregory
I haven't actually started on this next, but as it's a library book I need to start on it. This will be my physical book as the previous book (Stolen Nights) is an ebook.

What am I planning on reading next?

I've recently checked out a lot of books from the library, and have found a lot of interesting books on NetGalley, so let's see...

Mr. Monk in Trouble by Lee Goldberg
I liked the last Mr. Monk book I got from the library, so it's only natural that it's becoming a fallback mystery series to go to, just as Agatha Christie books are, as well as...

Murder, She Wrote: Domestic Malice (Murder She Wrote #38) by Donald Baine
I've read and loved a few of the other Murder She Wrote book in the series, so when I found this on the "New" shelf in my library, I snatched it up.

The Bridesmaid (Home to Hickory Hollow #2) by Beverly Lewis
If you check my blog, you'll know that I recently finished The Fiddler earlier this month. Well, I found and received The Guardian (Home to Hickory Hollow #3) on NetGalley and can't wait to read it! I love me some amish lit.
