What did I finish reading?
The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride #1) by James Patterson 4/5 (review)
I borrowed this book to read it in order to help my little brother understand it for school. I've never seen a book like as a class reading assignment, so I wanted to be able to assist him with whatever studying, tests and projects that may come from this book. I must say that I really enjoyed it, and I believe that my brother will enjoy it as well.
Stolen Nights (Vampire Queen #2) by Rebecca Maizel 5/5 (review)
I loved this book!!! I couldn't put it down and the ending is extremely memorable! I've spent hours after finishing the book just thinking about the ending and what it could mean. I'm not sure how or if there's going to be another book, but it would be so amazing to read a next one.
What am I currently reading?
27% done. Seeing as how this is number four in a series (and I haven't read the previous books,) I find this book very intriguing and hard to put down. I love a good historical fiction and I look forward to finishing the book and seeking out more from Gregory.
8% done. I requested this galley because I really enjoyed the first in the series (review of that here) and I wanted to know what happens with The Conclave and Abbie. So far it's done a little rehashing of what's happened in the previous book and it's giving us some clues towards a new creature-like antagonist. This book is expected to be published April 8th.
What am I planning on reading next?
I've recently checked out a lot of books from the library, and have found a lot of interesting books on NetGalley, so let's see...
I liked the last Mr. Monk book I got from the library, so it's only natural that it's becoming a fallback mystery series to go to, just as Agatha Christie books are, as well as...
Murder, She Wrote: Domestic Malice (Murder She Wrote #38) by Donald Baine
I've read and loved a few of the other Murder She Wrote book in the series, so when I found this on the "New" shelf in my library, I snatched it up.
The Bridesmaid (Home to Hickory Hollow #2) by Beverly Lewis
If you check my blog, you'll know that I recently finished The Fiddler earlier this month. Well, I found and received The Guardian (Home to Hickory Hollow #3) on NetGalley and can't wait to read it! I love me some amish lit.
