What did I finish reading?
The Fiddler (Home to Hickory Hollow #1) by Beverly Lewis 3/5 (review)
A beautiful amish book about finding ourselves amongst the pressures of life and society.
What am I currently reading?
93% done. I truly love this audiobook, I just don't know why it's taking me so long to finish it. I now only have a couple chapters left to listen to and I'm done! I most likely will not do a full review until I find and actually read the book (which I wouldn't mind owning, because I absolutely love it.)
I'm on page 63 out of 512. I'm not all that into the book, to be honest, which is why it's taking me so long to pick up and read through. It seems like I'm just taking it in 10 pages at a time. Perhaps it's just me, but it seems to overly descriptive about every single thing, and every single person (and there are a lot of people.) I'm holding out that the plot gets better to bring on some interest in the vacant situation.
What am I planning on reading next?
I just digitally checked out this audiobook because I've already started on Stolen Nights (Vampire Queen #2) galley and I figure I should probably read the first book before I continue on, because I started to get lost. I haven't read that many Vampire books (the only ones I've ever read were done in the course of last year: Dracula, Lothaire and The Mortal Instruments,) but perhaps I can get into the craze, haha.
I love the television series, so when I saw this in the library, I jumped on it! Can't wait to see what Monk gets into! (figuratively speaking of course. We all know Monk would throw a fit if he had to actually get into anything.)
