What did you finish reading?

What did I finish reading?

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs (review)
-For me the book began wonderfully, then the plot, not unlike the title, went peculiar.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (review)
-Loved it! The audiobook was so exciting and the narrator was brilliant!

Sole Possession by Bryn Donovan (review)
-Spooky, sexy and suspenseful! Great October read!

Zeus, Inc. by Robin Burks (review)
-A fantastical detective mystery of the future! I loved all the mythological elements and Alex's character! (Author Interview)

What am I currently reading?

The White Forest by Adam McOmber
-So far I'm into chapter 3 and Jane is explaining her "gift" a.k.a "disease." I love the writing style of this and the Victorian feel of it.

Catching Fire (Hunger Games #2) by Suzanne Collins
-I'm going with the audiobook, since the first one was so great. I'm only a minute or so into the beginning (I had a lot of gardening to do today) and so I can't really say how I feel about it yet.

Garment of Shadows (Mary Russell & Sherlock Holmes #12) by Laurie R. King
-I'm 8% in and love it! Well, so far the person of whom I suspect is Mary Russell is lost and has lost her memory. Onward bound!

A Beginner's Guide to Rakes by Suzanne Enoch
-I'm 19% into this audiobook. I just check it out on a whim because I was browsing the e-library and wanted another audiobook besides the Hunger Games. I like the historical feel, but to be honest I fell asleep during chapter 3 (I had a migraine yesterday) and woke up at the beginning of chapter 4. I'm going to have to go back a chapter and re-listen.

What am I planning on reading next?

Ever (Ever #1) by Jessa Russo
-Definitely without a doubt what I'll read next on my kindle.

Mockingjay (Hunger Games #3) by Suzanne Collins
-I checked this audiobook out with Catching Fire so I can start on it right after I finish. Fun fun fun!

Monstrous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama
-I think a mermaid's on the cover, but it's one of the library books I checked out and I really need to make a clear on those.

Ravishing in Red (Rarest Blooms Series #1) by Madeline Hunter
-This is another audiobook I checked out with the Hunger Games and A Beginner's Guide to Rakes, and it's due back in 18 days.
