Q. What writing device or trick most irritates you when reading a book? For example, if an author employs an omnipotent narrator that is sometimes considered bad form.

A. Love triangles and people falling head over heels over someone so fast. It's ridiculous. I hate when the entire book revolves around some soppy love-sick puppy and some boy/ girl they just met.
