Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
From The Secret (Seasons of Grace #1) by Beverly Lewis
"Hours later, Grace awakened in her bed, still mulling over what she'd witnessed in the barn. She wished the dawn away as she lay stretching in her bed–she possessed little courage for what was sure to be a difficult day ahead, what with two of Mamma's older sisters coming." (pg. 174)

I absolutely love Beverly Lewis' works and I haven't gotten this far in the book yet, but from just this teaser alone, I cannot wait to get there!

  1. Good teaser, wonder what she witnessed in the barn. I might read this one. We have a teaser from an Amish thriller by Linda Castillo this week.

    Here's our teasers:

  2. A very good teaser. "She wished the dawn away..." -- I know that feeling.

  3. That's a good teaser. I don't think I've read any Beverly Lewis. What book do you recommend?

    Here's my teaser:

Btw, I am now following you ;)

  4. Thanks! I'd recommend her Heritage of Lancaster County series: The Shunning, The Confession and The Reckoning :)

  5. Hi, great blog! I am a new follower from Teaser Tuesday. I would love a follow back!
