What did I finish reading?

Jurassic Park (Jurassic Park #1) by Michael Crichton 5/5 (review)
I absolutely loved this book on the unexpected turns life can take and how stubbornness and ignorance can possibly lead to the downfall of modern civilization.

Requiem (Delirium #3) by Lauren Oliver 4/5 (review)
A nicely done ending to a series on fighting for the right of freedom. Will love conquer?

Domestic Malice (Murder, She Wrote #34) by Donald Bain 3/5
Not the best murder she wrote mystery novel I've read, considering it was pretty obvious from the start who the killer was. This, and with all the court room stuff, the book just seemed to drag on needlessly.

What am I currently reading?

Gameboard of the Gods (Age of X #1) by Richelle Mead
I received this ARC, and am currently 64% through. It started off extremely confusing; beginning in the middle of a situation, introducing multiple characters with little descriptive properties, combined with overly complicated sub-plots (probably to put forth room for future novels) made me want to immediately give up after the first couple of chapters. I kept reading and thank goodness it got better, as far as understanding went. I like the main mystery plot of Justin looking for whoever did these strange killings.

The Girl who Played with Fire (Millennium #2) by Stieg Larsson
I loved The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and I love this. I'm 11% through this book and I would be farther except I promised myself that I would venture more into the book after I finish Gameboard of the Gods so that I can truly savor this book.

What do I plan on reading next?

The Chocolate Moose Motive (A Chocoholic Mystery #12) by JoAnna Carl
This is the last book in the last set of books I got from the library, meaning it's due soon. It looks fun and quick!

Multiple Exposure: A Sophie Medina Mystery by Ellen Crosby
I accidentally requested this galley and got approved, but the more I look at it, the more I'm excited about it. I love photography and I love a good mystery!! So good thing I did request it :D

Hikikomori and the Rental Sister by Jeff Backhaus
I was looking at my bookcase and found this, remembering that I received the galley a while ago and forgot all about it (woops!!!) I still want to read it, despite it already being published last month.
