What did I finish reading?

The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson 4/5 (review)
This book is a great author premiere book that I feel can span the the genres of both Middle-grade and Young adult. The subject matter is of a favorite topic of mine, Jack the Ripper, and the author provides a unique take on the matter.

Gates of Rapture by Caris Roane (2/5)
      I didn't give a full review, but I gave a short one:
"Simply said, I couldn't get into the book. It just didn't click with me for some reason. I have not read the previous books, but I found the whole Vampire/beast/warrior/angel like aspect new and interesting, but that's about it."

What am I currently reading?

The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling
I'm just one chapter in, but I'm planning on finishing the book soon enough. I need to get back in my reading groove.

What am I planning to read next?

The Fiddler by Beverly Lewis
I checked out The Bridesmaid from the library, forgetting that it is second in the Home to Hickory Hollow series, so I need to find and read The Fiddler before I can get to that. I really love Beverly Lewis' books so I'm really looking forward to reading this series.
