WWW Wednesdays

To play along, just answer these 3 questions:
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What are you currently reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What did I recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman (review)
Although I may not be a complete fan of Alice Hoffman's writing style, the overall plot and it's symbolism was felt. This book grew on me as I read on.

What am I currently reading?
I'm currently reading A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire #3) by George R.R. Martin (teaser)
At the time of typing, I'm at page 500 of 973. Nothing seriously major has really happened (like prominent deaths, news, connections or realizations) but I'm sure it's building up to something big. Whatever it is will probably emotional crush me and leave me questioning GRRM's sanity, fun fun fun! haha!

What do I think I'll read next?
As I'm trying to finish A Storm of Swords before friday, because that is the last day of my library's summer reading program, I plan to start on and finish Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman on thursday night/friday morning. I want to read and finish this book within this time because it will give me something to turn back in to the library on friday (so I won't feel like I've wasted gas.) I've heard some nice things about this book, and although I just said I'm not a huge fan of Alice Hoffman's writing style, I am looking forward to reading it.

  5. I'm 800 pages into A Clash of Kings, and some very interesting things have happened. 500 pages seems like a long way to go with no major events, but Martin does like to build those things up a lot.
